Donald L. Jones Brockport: Passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his wives Sylvia Thompson Jones and Barbara Kandt Jones, and sister Dorothy (Paul) Hermance. He is survived by his children Linda Pickering, Cynthia (John) Sorel and Robert (Judith) Jones, 5 grandchildren Carrie (Steve) Gramiak, Kallie Pickering (Matt Rothenburgh), Eric (Sarah) Sorel, Jason (Maggie) Sorel and Colby Jones, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Don proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a retiree from Eastman Kodak. He was an avid sailor and a lifetime member of the Brockport Yacht Club as well as a member of the Capen Hose Volunteer Fire Department in Brockport. Don was a longtime member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Brockport and most recently attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hilton. Don will forever be cherished as a devoted husband, father and grandfather who always put family first. There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 5th at 11 AM in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Ave., Hilton, NY 14468. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the Aurora House, 2495 S. Union St., Spencerport, NY 14559.
