Zaffuto, Madeline B. Brockport: Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 15, 2017 at the age of 84. Born in Brockport on July 28, 1932, the youngest child of the late Earl and Bessie (Sherlock) Bopp. Predeceased by her husband Raymond J. Zaffuto in 1983, brother; Bernard Bopp, sisters; Margaret Bopp, Frances (Warren) Good, Marie Bopp and Virginia Green. Madeline is survived by her sons; Raymond (Charlene) and Stephen (Tamera), grandchildren; Kendra, Kaitlynn, Richard and Kyle, sister; Helen Wilkinson, sister-in-law; Betty (Vinnie) Teresi, many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Madeline loved working and keeping busy! She was happily employed in Brockport for many years at a variety of jobs including General Electric, The Roxbury Inn, Perkins, Craig Hill Country Club, BCSD Credit Union, Jesse Thompson's Duryea Ford and Hofbauer Motors to name a few. She enjoyed laughing, drinking coffee and chatting monthly with her Brockport High School girlfriends ever since their graduation in 1950. She also looked forward to playing cards and exercising with her friends in the College Greene community. Evening ice cream and phone calls to Helen were always on her agenda. Madeline's funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 21st at 10:30 am at St. Christopher's Church in N. Chili. Interment to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Brockport. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her memory to St. Christopher's Church 3350 Union St. North Chili, NY 14514.
