Karen J. Shaffer

Holley: Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday May 18, 2023, at the age of 68.  Predeceased by her daughter Gidget Block, sister Annette Babcock and brother Harry Shaffer.  She is survived by her son Shawn (Samantha) Block, daughter Teri Caldwell, grandchildren Haylie (RJ), Gabi (Owen), Isiah, Ellie, Brianna, Emily and Drew, great grandchildren Brooklyn, Braxton and Capen, siblings Mary Anne (Richard) Rood, Jeff (Kathia) Shaffer, Irene Shaffer, Ruth Shaffer, Michael Shaffer, Patrick (Janeen) Shaffer, Holley (Dennis) Mulhoon, Rebecca Shaffer and Brian (Ann) Shaffer, many nieces, nephews and close dear friends as well as her beloved dog Petey.

Family was the upmost importance to Karen. She loved being and was an exceptional Mom. Her love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren was never questioned and proven time and time again as she was always readily available to embrace any task asked of her.  Karen had a heart of gold and the gift to speak her mind eloquently.  She was an avid reader, collector of vintage keepsakes and truly enjoyed her adventures garage saling and antiquing with her friend Sally.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 23^rd from 3-5 pm at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave., Brockport, followed by a Memorial Service at 5 pm.
