Obituary of Thomas S. Dobson

Thomas Dobson (Dobber) Brockport: Passed away September 23, 2020, age 80. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Bonnie; children Jeffrey (Beth), Todd (Channon) and Shelley (Benjy), grandchildren Amanda (Mike), Rachael, Trevor (Olivia), Jeremy (Amanda), Adam, Amber and Tyler, 9 great grandchildren, sisters Persha (Richard) Carlston and Dianne Hickerson (Douglas). Tom proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1958-1964. He was a Communications Code Specialist, copying code from Russian ships, during the Cuban Conflict Crisis. He was an avid NY Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan, enjoyed playing golf at Hickory Ridge Country Club where he was a member for over 20 years, wintering in Florida at their home and was a friend to all. Tom loved life but most of all, he cherished spending time with his family. Family will receive friends on Thursday October 1st from 4-6 PM at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave., Brockport. Flowers are gratefully declined, those wishing may contribute to St. John Lutheran Church, 1107 Lake Rd. West Fork, Hamlin, NY 14464 or a charity of your choice. Per CDC guidelines, masks are required, and social distancing protocols will be followed.
