Frederick Charles Rose “Fred”
Hamlin: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday July 5, 2020 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his son David Rose, sister Shirley Rodas and brother Bill Rose. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janet; beloved son Gary and cherished granddaughter Mikel “Mikey” Rose.
Fred proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, the Brockport Police Department and Eastman Kodak. After retirement, he was a proprietor of Rose’s Hungry Heifer in Brockport, NY.
Please meet Saturday July 11th at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport at 1:30 PM for a procession to Garland Cemetery where a graveside service which will be held at 2 PM. A Celebration of Fred’s life will follow at the Brockport Fireman Exempts, 248 West Ave., Brockport. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Hamlin United Methodist Church, 1742, Lake Road, Hamlin, NY 14464.
