Northrup, James R. Brockport: On March 28, 2011 at age 69 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his mother and father, Rosalind and Wilson Northrup and sister Linda Musshafen. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Kathleen Northrup (McCarthy); son Brian (Arlene) Northrup, daughter Michaela Northrup, son Douglas Northrup, stepsons David (Shannon) Scott, Eric (Kristen) Scott, his adoring grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kennedy and Liam Northrup and Paige Scott; many nieces and nephews. Jim was a well respected and loved man in the Brockport community. He was a volunteer of the Brockport Fire Department and was on the Brockport School Board. Jim was also the founder of Northrup Concrete, Inc. and Northrup Contracting, Inc Friends may call Thursday April 7th from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave Brockport where his funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate to either the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation (OI), PO Box 824061Philadelphia, PA 19182-4061 or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 1015 Ashes Dr. Suite 101, Wilmington, NC 28405.
