In retirement, he and Marylin served with SOWER Ministries. They were also active at Lighthouse Christian Camp in Barker, NY, where Jack was at times the buildings and grounds manager, camp treasurer and camp board member. The "Baker Cottage" was recently dedicated at the camp in recognition for Jack's years of faithful service.
