 Jon passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on July 10th, 2022. He is predeceased by his parents Bud & Stella and Brother Jeffrey DeTar. He is survived by his wife Sharon Belair DeTar; stepchildren Lisa DelMartino (Peter), Jeffrey Harding, Kevin Harding (Julie); step grandchildren Joshua Harding (Allie Bradshaw), Nathan Harding, Zackery Harding (Morgan Haak), Nicholas DelMartino (Carissa Black), Samantha DelMartino (Sean Howlet); siblings Julie DeTar Buckland (George), Jim DeTar (Cindy), Janis DeTar (Ron Koch), Joe DeTar (Shari); several cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.

Jon had a lifetime career as a Master Auto Technician, was an accomplished musician and most enjoyed casting a lure at Black Lake. Jon was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 14 from 4 – 8 PM at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 15 at 11:00 AM. A Graveside Service will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Canal Road, Brockport.
