Zachary Elliot Remmel

Zachary Elliot Remmel, of Brockport, NY, age 30, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his cherished grandfather, Ronald A. Spencer, who held a special place in Zachary's heart as his best friend.

Zachary is lovingly remembered by his devoted mother, Rhonda Remmel (Nate Stahura), along with his siblings, Courtney Lee (Marcus) Hill and Joshua Price Remmel. He is also survived by his beloved grandmother, Karen Spencer, as well as his cousin Spencer (Melita) Edelstein and their son, Otto. A treasured aunt, Amy Edelstein, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends from Lifetime Assistance and Mary Cariola also mourn his passing.

Zachary brought joy to those around him with his infectious smile, happiness and love for life. His passions included watching Barney, enjoying movies, and playing on his iPad. A true foodie at heart, he particularly delighted in Wendy’s frosties and Reese’s peanut butter cups. He thrived on the simple pleasures of life; whether it was going for walks, making new friends, dancing to his favorite tunes, or sharing handshakes and big hugs with his dedicated staff and housemates.

His bright spirit and loving nature touched the lives of everyone he encountered, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Zachary's remarkable life on Friday, September 13th from 4-6 pm at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., located at 340 West Ave., Brockport. In honor of Zachary, those who wish may contribute to Finger Lakes Donor Recovery (www.donorrecovery.org) a cause that reflects his generous spirit.

Zachary will be forever missed and cherished in the hearts of all who knew him.
