William J. Flesch Sr.

William J. Flesch Sr., known to his loved ones as Bill, departed from this world on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the age of 67, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.

 Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Shirley Flesch, siblings Diane Hopkins, Larry “Butch” Flesch, Dick Flesch and Bob Flesch. 

 Bill is survived by his beloved Lorraine Flesch, his children Jaimie Flesch and Billy Flesch Jr., as well as his grandsons Alex Flesch, Brian Ruggles, and Connor Wedgwood. He is also survived by his sister Sharon Skrutski, brother Tom Flesch, sister-in-law Ann Flesch, several nieces and nephews, and a multitude of cherished friends who will always hold him close to their hearts.

 Throughout his life, Bill found joy in the simple pleasures — from the thrill of horse racing to the camaraderie of shooting pool. He had a passion for hunting and fishing that brought him solace in nature's embrace. A dedicated family man, he treasured moments spent with his loved ones and was renowned for being the life of every gathering with a great sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest of days.

 Family and friends may call on Wednesday, July 17th from 5-7 PM at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport. In lieu of flowers, those inclined may contribute to the Golisano Children’s Hospital or Open Door Mission in honor of Bill's generous spirit.

 As we bid farewell to William J. Flesch Sr., let us remember him not with tears for his departure but with smiles for the memories he bestowed upon us. May his laughter continue to echo in our hearts, and may his legacy live on in the lives he touched. Rest peacefully, Bill - your light will forever shine brightly in our souls.
