Timothy R. Berna Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Timothy R. Berna Sr. on June 28, 2024, at the age of 72. Tim was a man who held his family close to his heart, finding joy and purpose in being surrounded by his loved ones.

Tim is now reunited with his parents, Raymond and Doris Berna, his sister Maryellen (Doug) Bibbee, and many other cherished extended family members who have gone before. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that be carried on by his children: Jaime Berna, Tim (Kate) Berna, and Samantha (James) Adam; his grandchildren: Brooke, Brody, Armina, and Derek, his ex-wife Diane Berna (Ken), longtime friend Anita LaRoque, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Family was the cornerstone of Tim's life. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, bringing him immeasurable happiness. Known for his welcoming nature, Tim had a way of making everyone feel like a friend. An outdoors enthusiast, he found solace in nature and shared his passion for golf, bowling, and cooking with those around him. 

A Celebration of Life honoring Tim's remarkable journey will be held on Saturday, July 13th from 11 am to 3 pm at Salmon Creek Country Club located at 355 Washington Street, Spencerport, NY 14559. In lieu of flowers, those inclined may offer contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Tim’s memory.

Timothy R. Berna Sr. will forever be remembered for his unwavering love for family, his infectious spirit that touched many lives, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind. May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
