 Chris passed suddenly at Highpoint Nursing Facility in Buffalo, NY, Saturday August 31, 2024. He had suffered a massive stroke in October of 2019 and struggled valiantly against cognitive decline. Chris managed to survive independently in his home until April of this year.

Chris is predeceased by his parents Helen and Emanuel. He is survived by his brother Nick and sister-in-law Lynn of Brockport, niece Stephanie and nephews Emanuel and Alexander. Chris earned a B/A in Theater with an emphasis in set design. He was enthusiastic about the arts, cinema in particular, and performed Broadway and Jazz tunes on the piano.

 Chris developed lifelong relationships wherever he went, starting in his time as a construction manager in NYC. He did the same when he moved to be near his mother in Columbia, SC. After her passing in 2003, he followed friends to Buffalo.

 The meaning of life for Chris was building friendships. He loved his Greek heritage and traveled there extensively. He accumulated experiences and ideas unceasingly, being much less interested in accumulating material possessions. He lived fully and passionately, according to his unique inner rhythm, occasionally expressing acerbic wit, always with acceptance of others.

 Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11, from 6-8 pm at Fowler Funeral Home, 340 west Ave., Brockport NY.
