Peacefully on Wednesday August 4, 2010 at the age of 79. Predeceased by his wife Janet O., parents Hugo and Wilhelmina, brother Paul and daughter in-law Wendy Klafehn. He is survived by his daughter Kim (Joe) Tastrom, son Steven, grandchildren Katie Trastrom, Dylan and Taylor Klafehn, brother Mark (Joan) Klafehn, Richard (Eva) Klafehn, brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff and volunteers at the House of John. Friends may call Friday for 10-12 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave Brockport where his Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the House of John, 14 Spring St. Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
