Connors, William T. Brockport: Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his son Timothy W. Connors. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joyce; his children, Chuck (Joyce), Bob (Patti), Mary and Anne, grandchildren Terry and SGT. Shannon Connors USMC, Sarah (David) Ciaizza, Michele (Patrick) Herrmann, Christopher Werme, Liz (Brad) Koetsier, SGT Patrick Werme USMC, Rachel Werme, LCpl Mary Beth (CPL Tyler) Hill USMC and Alexis Rizzo, 6 great-grandchildren; Angelo, Michaela, Aidan, Brecken and Landon, his sister Noel Myers and many nieces and nephews. Bill was a very active Brockport Volunteer Fireman for 67 years. He worked at General Electric for 35 years and Black and Decker for 3 years. His interests were centered on his family, the fire department and his friends. His hobbies included history of the US Military. Bill was an avid gardener and proficient at woodworking. Calling hours will be at Fowler Funeral Home, 340 West Ave., Brockport on Sunday October 30, 2016 2-5 pm. His funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 am, at Nativity Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 152 Main Street, Brockport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BFD Exempts or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
